  5. By the time you read this, update #3 should available at our
  6. download sites on Compuserve, America Online, and ftp.std.com.
  7. See WMCDFAQ.TXT in the root directory of this CD-ROM for download
  8. information.

  10. If you use a third-party disk cache, have a caching disk adapter
  11. with onboard RAM, or are running OS/2, Windows NT, or Windows 95,
  12. see the instructions in WMCDFAQ.TXT on setting cache size
  13. manually with the /c switch.

  15. If you have any trouble installing Wintune, read through
  16. WMCDFAQ.TXT, which includes solutions to the most common
  17. problems, as well as instructions on getting technical support.

  21. A few users have reported getting the error message "Cannot load
  22. DLL" when they tried to install Wintune from our last CD. We are
  23. still investigating the problem, but in the meantime here are
  24. several alternative methods of installing Wintune you can try:
  25.  
  26. 1. Click on the icon on the Wintune page of Welcome to Windows
  27. Magazine CD.
  28.  
  29. 2. Open File Manager, click on the CD-ROM drive icon, open the
  30. directory WT20, and double-click on SETUP.EXE.
  31.  
  32. 3. Follow the instructions in the "SETUP: Manual Installation"
  33. section of WMCDFAQ.TXT.
